How large should the home office budget per employee be?
The budget should match the equipment needed. It is important to distinguish between the approved budget and actual costs: based on onyo experience, around 70% of eligible employees use the offer and draw on average about 75% of their budget.
Example: with a monthly equipment budget of EUR 50 per eligible person, these assumptions produce 50 × 70% × 75% = EUR 26.25 average monthly equipment cost per eligible person. That equals 52.5% of the approved total budget. Per actually equipped person it would be EUR 37.50 in this example.
These experience values do not replace a customer-specific calculation. Existing equipment, participation and product selection can change the figures; separately agreed fees must be considered on top. Equipment that is professionally necessary should not depend solely on a flat number of remote days.
