Home office as a service
What happens to home office equipment when someone leaves?
With onyo direct rental, the equipment remains onyo's property. When someone leaves, onyo asks the employee whether they would like to buy the equipment. In case of a buy-out, onyo issues an invoice; otherwise onyo organises collection.
The buy-out takes place at the offered and agreed purchase price. For early termination of the rental contract, agreed return or takeover contingents can be used.
Whether remaining rental payments or collection costs apply depends on the contract and the available contingent. A free return transport does not automatically mean that all outstanding rental instalments are waived.
Key points
- Ownership stays with onyo; buy-out offer to the leaver
- Buy-out via invoice from onyo; otherwise collection
- Remaining rent and collection costs depend on contract and contingent
